Experienced Geotechnical Engineers Are The Difference

A Geotechnical Engineer's job would be so much easier if they could just see under the ground surface!

Geotechnical Engineering deals with a non-homogeneous material that can vary considerably across a site.  Experience with these situations can be invaluable to the successful completion of your project and the proper performance of the project after construction.  Our staff has the experience to have "seen that and done that" so it is not a totally new experience for them.

Our experienced engineers can assist you with:

  • Preliminary Geotechnical Exploration

  • Fatal Flaw Study

  • Shovel Ready Site Exploration

  • Geotechnical Exploration for Shallow Foundations

  • Geotechnical Exploration for Deep Foundations

  • Ground Improvement

  • Pavement Design for Automobile/Trucks or Aviation

  • Embankment Design

  • Reinforced Earth Embankments and Slope Analysis

  • Mechanically Stabilized Earth Wall Analysis

  • Settlement Analysis

  • Slope Stability Analysis

  • Landslide Remediation

  • Forensic Explorations

  • Expert Witness Testimony and Litigation Support

Obtaining "good" representative samples of the soils that will be supporting your project is the first step in providing good recommendations for your project.  Much like with software where the saying of "garbage in equals garbage out" the same is true with Geotechnical Engineering.  If the initial soil samples are not representative of the in-situ soils, then the recommendations will not be completely accurate.
