Since 1999, HydroTech has been located in a two-story Italianate home, which is part of the West Central Historic District of Anderson, Indiana and is included in the National Register of Historic Places..

The home features characteristics commonly seen in Italianate homes, including a truncated hipped roof, tall and narrow windows capped by decorative crowns, a bracketed cornice and a wrap-around porch with ornamental posts and railings.

It was built in 1875 by Stephen Markt, a furniture maker and undertaker.

The home remained in the Markt family for 110 years until purchased and restored in 1985 by Jim Abraham, a professor of historic preservation and an expert in restoration projects.
